As of right now in terms of crime rates we are at the lowest we have been in Canada since 1973. 77,000 fewer criminal code incidents from the past year, 7200 fewer violent incidents and a drop in 10 percent in homicides. In Vancouver the number of total crime has dropped 6%, robbery 8%, breaking and entering 9% and motor vehicle theft 20%. Overall we are all living safely but to me it would depend on what neighborhood you live in. -KP
